Colón Market

Mercado de Colón one of the most emblematic modernist buildings in the city. It was built in 1914 by
Francisco de Mora y Berenguer. It is an open, circular area occupying the whole
block and brings to mind the old awnings of the traditional market places.

Valencia's Turia Gardens
The gardens used to be the Turia River until a major flood in 1957 left three-quarters of the city underwater.
Soon after the city began a amassive project to divert the river and turn the dry riverbed into public green spaces.
Now there are futbol fields, children's playscapes, gardens, the City of Arts and Sciences complex, and Gulliver Park.
There is a running path complete with kilometer markers and a designated bike lane that goes the whole length of the park.
